Idk about this. Durant us obviously a transcendent talent and won 2 chips with them, but it seems a little much. He only played there on one contract and then dipped. Plus he joined a team that were champions already. Not like when lebron went to miami and made them champions. Good for them if they feel he deserves it but I think retiring numbers should be a little more special than that. Reserved for all time greats of the team who stay long term. Guys like steph and Klay deserve it more.
